All of us at Rocket Pure, a manufacturer of natural body care products for athletes, are pleased to announce the release of our brand new natural sunscreens. We are offering the sunscreen in both 1 ounce and 3 ounce packages for your convenience. Both options come with a bonus lip balm sunscreen at our online store www.RocketPure.com and at Amazon.com.
You’re an athlete, so you need a natural sunscreen that will stay with you through your strenuous activity. Rocket Pure’s natural sunscreen is made with non-nano zinc oxide. It provides broad-based protection against UVA and UVB rays. Best of all, it’s made for athletes like you. It will keep protecting you while you’re outside enjoying your sport of choice.
Rocket Pure founder Alex Armitage said adding a natural sunscreen to the product line was the next logical step for the Bellingham, Washington-based company. “Our customers are athletes, so they’re spending most of their time training and racing outside in the sun. They asked for these products, so with a vast amount of research and development over the last few years- we delivered!”
At Rocket Pure we believe in providing products that our customers can apply without fear of harmful long-term side effects. The natural sunscreens, along with the rest of our products, contain no suspect or toxic chemicals.
Here’s a list of some of the ingredients in our natural sunscreen and lip balm:
- Non-Nano Zinc Oxide
- Certified Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Certified Organic Jojoba Seed Oil
- Shea Butter
Most conventional sunscreen products utilize ingredients like oxybenzone and octinoxate. The Environmental Working Group, a website dedicated to informing people about the science behind the ingredients in common body care products, says these ingredients may be hazardous to your overall health.
EWG’s site says there are two major reasons for concern when using products containing oxybenzone and octinoxate. One concern is the biochemical or cellular level changes that can occur from these ingredients, such as cell mutations and cell death. These chemical ingredients may even be implicated in cardiovascular disease.
The second major concern is the evidence that these ingredients may be endocrine disruptors. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences says endocrine disruptors are chemicals which produce adverse developmental, reproductive, neurological, and immune effects.
If there’s a great natural option for active sunscreen, why put toxic chemicals on your body that could be harmful to your health?
Tell your friends there is now a sunscreen available that’s perfect for athletes, runners, cyclists, swimmers, and all others who spend time outside and care about using natural and organic ingredients on their body.
