Krissy Moehl – Ultra Runner, Author and Coach

Through her passion for trail running, Krissy has had the opportunity to travel and experience the world. A forever runner, she first discovered the trails in 1999 after studying abroad in Ecuador. She credits the support of her family, the trail running community, her rich life experiences and the open spaces of high alpine terrain for inspiring her to keep moving forward.
  • Holds the fastest known time (FKT) for a women’s supported run of the Tahoe Rim Trail

  • 2015 Team USA World 50 mile Championship team member
  • 2014 Patagonia National Park, Mile for Mile Film project
  • Winner of the 2013 Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji, Japan
  • Winner of the 2009 Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB), Chamonix, France
  • In 2007 set course records, now broken, for HURT 100, Honolulu, HI and Hardrock 100 Mile Endurance Run, Silverton, Colorado
  • Fast-packed the 480-mile Colorado Trail in just over 13 days, averaging 32 miles a day, 2006
  • Completed the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning in 2005 to become the youngest finisher. Currently holds the second fastest cumulative time
  • Over 100 ultrarunning finishes with more than 50 female first place finishes and two outright race wins
  • Race director of the Chuckanut 50k, Bellingham, Washington since 2003
  • Worked for many years with Girls on the Run, an after school program for girls ages 9-12
